Join us in working at the intersections of climate and social justice in Southeast Portland and beyond to build urban resiliency amidst a changing climate.
In 2025, the Climate Justice Action Committee will focus its efforts on increasing the urban tree canopy in eight priority District 3 neighborhoods in partnership with Portland’s Urban Forestry department. With coordination through the committee, Neighborhood Associations in these priority neighborhoods will participate in the Yard Tree Giveaway program that will offer residents up to three free trees for their yard.
