Committees

SE Uplift has several opportunities for committee participation, and many of these committees are currently seeking new members.

  • Our community committees are open to anyone from the District 3 community who is interested in participating.
  • Board committees can only be joined by current board members. Regardless of board membership, our board and executive committee meetings are open to the public – anyone can attend.

If interested in joining a committee, please view the committee pages linked below for details. Southeast Uplift’s Standing Rules for Committees: The Standing Rules for Committees correspond to the SE Uplift bylaws Section VII: Committees.

Community Committees

Any community member can join these committees. Get involved at the district level on the things that matter to you!

Houselessness Action Committee (HAC)

The HAC is focused on supporting our houseless neighbors during this time of great need.  The committee is also focused on empowering housed neighbors with tools and skills to treat unhoused neighbors with kindness and respect while resolving points of conflict. Learn more here.

Land Use and Transportation Committee (LUTC)

The LUTC is a long-standing committee that frequently hosts guest speakers. It is primarily used as a forum for learning and sharing information about current land use and transportation-related projects, policy, and efforts happening in District 3. For more information, click here.
