Land use & transportation neighborhood representatives, advocates, and interested community members are invited to join District Coalitions from across the city on Tuesday, November 27th from 6:30 to 9 pm to network with colleagues and bureau staff, learn, and collaborate with fellow community advocates around land use and transportation issues.
LOCATION: Lagunitas Community Room 237 NE Broadway St #300 Portland, OR 97232
We know that neighbors and community organizations within all district coalitions are doing great things to improve road safety for all users; protect historic resources; shape the future of our main streets and neighborhoods; promote housing affordability; foster community engagement in the land use process, and much much more! Imagine what can happen when great minds and enthusiastic advocates get together to learn, discuss, and share!
This coalition-wide learning and networking event is an opportunity to celebrate the great work going on across the city, learn from each other, and meet bureau staff and other community advocates. Doors will open at 6:30, a short program will kickstart the evening at 7pm, followed by an hour of structured networking. The night will conclude with open networking and hopefully some fun! Dinner and non-alcoholic beverages will be available starting at 6:45 and a no host bar will also be available throughout the evening.
We hope you are able to join us for an evening of land use and transportation discussion, learning and networking. All are welcome, but please RSVP here so we can provide adequate food and beverages.
