SE Uplift is starting another round of conversation projects in 2019. The first will be hosted at our office on February 12th 2019! We will be hosting four conversations with Oregon Humanities throughout the winter and spring of 2019 starting with Beyond Invitation: How to create inclusive communities? with Rachel Bernstein which will explore how to move forward beyond the invitation of inclusion.
These conversations will engage our community in a variety of other topics as well. We will explore questions such as: “How do [our policies, environment, and culture] fail to support these invitations to under-represented folks? How do you know if a space is inclusive and accessible for all and is such a goal even possible?”.
