In celebration of International Women’s Day, we want to highlight some amazing events happening in Portland to honor women in different ways.
2019 Dress for Success Clothing Drive
Throughout March – In honor of Women’s History Month 2019, donate gently used professional women’s clothing of all sizes, plus sizes encouraged. Highest needs include unused cosmetics and toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, face wash, face lotion, mascara, and general makeup i.e., eyeliner, lipstick, foundation). Women in Tech Happy Hour Events
March 19th – A lot of people talk about the Importance of diversity in the technology Industry, but does diversity even matter if there are not meaningful efforts to achieve inclusion? The conversation starter to keep the networking flowing will be “What is the Difference Between Diversity and Inclusion?” Click here for more info.
International Women’s Day @ Nike: Senior Leadership in Tech (Women Who Code)
March 7th – A fun evening including a panel discussion on senior leadership in tech, networking, and food + drinks. Senior leaders at Nike will discuss their journeys into leadership and the steps they have taken to build their successful careers in management. Click here for more info.
International Women’s Day Brunch w/ Dress for Success

Our Bold Voices Presents Nevertheless She Persisted
March 8th – Fundraiser for the Family Preservation Project. Five bold women storytellers take the stage to tell you their personal stories of persistence. Click here for more info.
Boss Lady – International Women’s Day Event
March 8th – The Portland Ad Federation and SQ1 are hosting a networking and panelist event. From crashing through glass ceilings, being a badass entrepreneur or shrugging off imposter syndrome our panelists will share their perspectives and experiences that led them to be IRL Boss Ladies. March 16th – Back by popular demand, in this lovingly created sacred space you will receive interactive community connection with incredible women, a chakra/energy- balancing yoga asana practice, guided meditation, breath work, space to explore and tools for your unique empowerment & healing journey. Large Size Women’/Femme Clothing Swap
