Martin Luther King Day is celebrated every year on the third Monday of January. This year MLK Day happens on January 21st, 2019. It is common to learn about Civil Rights Day, Human Rights Day or to do acts of service for others to honor the holiday.
Martin Luther King Day commemorates the life of American civil rights leader Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and celebrates his achievements and legacy.
SE Uplift will honor Dr. King’s memory by attending the “We’ve Come This Far” Keep Alive The Dream event and will be hosting a service day with details to come.
