Portland is one of hundreds of communities worldwide to annually host Welcoming Week, in which organizations and communities bring together neighbors of all backgrounds to build communities of belonging. Join us at SE Uplift for a family-friendly afternoon full of activities including a resource fair, immigrant and refugee nonprofits, placemaking activities, immigrant stories, a local farmers market and art exhibition as we celebrate the diversity that makes our neighborhoods great.

We’re excited to host the Asian Community Farmers Market to serve up fresh, organic local produce in the Outdoor Plaza at Southeast Uplift. This nonprofit is founded on the belief that access to fresh food is a right, not a privilege. Your purchases will help fuel their work to grow crops and distribute them to families in need. All forms of payment are accepted including EBT and WIC cards.
