This summer, SE Uplift and Portland Urban Forestry are partnering with neighborhood associations to let residents of eight District 3 priority neighborhoods know that they can sign up early for free yard trees. At this in-person event, Urban Forestry staff will help residents of those neighborhoods choose trees that will thrive in their yards.

This fall, District 3 voters will elect three Portland city councilors in the November 3 election. With three seats to fill, voters will likely have several candidates to consider. SE Uplift is inviting every candidate who qualifies for the District 3 ballot to a casual mixer and ice cream social, where community members can connect with candidates one-on-one and meet neighborhood association volunteers, community groups, and organizations active across District 3.
