Interested in how Portland plans for the future? Join the SE Uplift Land Use & Transportation Committee this Monday, December 15th for a meeting featuring the Portland Planning Commission AND a community discussion about Cesar E Chavez Boulevard.

We continue our introduction to land use and planning development with a discussion with the Portland Planning Commission. The Planning Commission guides city growth through the development and maintenance of the Comprehensive Plan, updates to the Zoning Code (Title 33), and evaluates city growth through a climate and equity lens. In order to this they rely on public input and have multiple ways to participate.

Stay for a community discussion about Cesar E Chavez, an important north-south corridor that also is part of the City’s High Crash Network of the most dangerous streets. We want to hear what you appreciate about the boulevard and what can be improved. Join the Committee’s conversation to learn how you can participate and help shape Portland’s future.
