August Land Use & Transportation Committee Meeting

This month’s Land Use & Transportation Committee (LUTC) meeting will feature briefings on three projects affecting District 3. The meeting is open to all, and you do not need to attend regularly to join for a topic that interests you.

• Inner Eastside Zoning Project: Hear how the project is exploring zoning changes that could allow more types of housing in Portland’s Inner Eastside and expand housing opportunities across a range of incomes. Presenters will also share information about upcoming community engagement.
• I-5 Rose Quarter Improvement Project: Get an update on construction timelines, major traffic impacts, and the status of funding for Phase 1C and Phase 2 as work continues throughout 2026.
• Parking Management: Learn how parking districts and other strategies can improve parking availability, reduce congestion, support neighborhood livability, and give residents and local businesses more options for addressing parking needs.
